A sunny May afternoon in New York City is already special — but even more so when you get to spend it with an incredible couple like Grace & Eric at one of the most iconic places in the city: The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
From the moment we stepped inside, we knew this was going to be a fun and elegant engagement photoshoot. The Met is one of our favorite backdrops in NYC — with its dramatic marble halls, historic sculptures, and sweeping staircases, it’s a dream setting for stylish couples.
Grace & Eric came dressed to impress. Their outfits were effortlessly chic and perfectly complemented the museum’s timeless interiors. We wandered through the exhibits together, pausing to take portraits with classical statues and grand architectural details. Each frame was about more than just aesthetics — it was about capturing their chemistry, excitement, and quiet in-between moments before their big day.
As a Photographer NYC Engagements, I always look for places that bring out the unique personality of each couple, and The Met did just that. There was laughter, warm light streaming through the tall windows, and an overall sense of calm and closeness. We’re so excited to capture Grace & Eric’s wedding day soon, but this session already felt like a celebration on its own.
This NYC engagement photoshoot reminded us why we love what we do — telling stories in the city we adore, for couples who are stylish, real, and deeply in love.
