I am OBSESSED with our photos (both wedding & portrait shoot). I found Danila online through another couple that had been married at our venue (The Foundry LIC). I loved the editorial and romantic style. I was a little hesitant because I love a good first-hand recommendation but couldn’t compare his photos to any other wedding photographer. During our initial conversation it was easy and flowed. He knew our venue (which could have tricky lighting) and got our vision. During our portrait shoot he was able to get to know my husband and I and we were able to get to know him. He made us both super comfortable in front of the camera. When we received our portrait session photos we were blown away..making us so excited for the capturing of the big day!

Danila and his assistant, Liobov (who was LOVELY), were right on time, easy-going, and got pictures of everything without being pushy or overwhelming. They worked with our big families requests and many personalities. They captured the very best parts of the very best day.

We hired Danila because we loved his artistic eye and photography style and he did not disappoint! We just got married so are still waiting for our wedding photos but we are over the moon obsessed with the shots from our pre-wedding photo session. We could not be happier with our wedding photos from Danila and Lana’s NYC Wedding Photography. They captured every moment of our day so beautifully and we truly feel like we get to relive our amazing day every time we look at our photos.

Danila and Lana are also just so fun to work with. We had a unique day - elopement during COVID with a 6 hr photoshoot all around the city at our favorite spots and we felt as though we were just hanging out with two friends all day having fun, which made the day that much more special. If we could play back our day all over again, we would because it was so fabulous. Luckily we will have these amazing pictures to remind us of that day and relive it through the photo journey, so beautifully told through Danila & Lana’s lens. Hiring Danila and Lana was by far the best decision we have made for our wedding! We actually booked them before we even got our venue and date finalized. My husband and I were looking for non-conventional wedding photos and video and their portfolio was exactly what we were looking for.

They were amazing to work with and were very flexible during our rescheduling due to the Covid. They made us feel very comfortable during the engagement photo session in NYC and we were blown away with the results. After seeing those photos - we couldn’t wait to see what they will have during our wedding! They made all of our bridal party feel comfortable during the photos, and even out for was happy to be photographed. We had a very hard time choosing our thank you note photo since all of them are so beautiful!!! Their photos always stand out and we always get compliments on our wedding and engagement photos. I was lucky enough to have the Danila & Lana team by our side on our wedding day. We had a small (40 guest) wedding so I we really wanted our photos to feel as intimate and special as it was. Our photos really captured this! Our photos did not feel staged - this was a big request. Everything captured felt very effortless. I also wanted our photos to have a vintage/warm quality. The editing done to our photos was just perfect, not overdone. Felt like something out of an editorial magazine. Our video was also another gem.

I was drawn to Danila's photos and debated for weeks before reaching out to him because I was afraid his prices would be out of our range. I love the editorial and journalistic style of his photos. All the couples he features on his website and Instagram look amazing! A wedding advice I read mentioned that one should love all the wedding photos and not just the few "good ones". We are so glad to have hired and worked with him for our wedding day. I so awkward when I take photos, Danila and Lana gave great directions. They work fast too. Our photos were delivered couple weeks later via google drive. As soon as when we received them, we could not not stop smiling. Our pictures are what reminds us about our special day. We also opted in the wedding video which we are so glad we did. It is a better way to show our wedding day, the video is fun and very thoughtful. I found Danila and Lana on Instagram and immediately fell in love with their urban style of photography. Lana did mine and my husband's photos for our Brooklyn wedding and she was wonderful. I originally booked Danila but my wedding date changed and he wasn't available for my date so he offered his partner Lana. Lana was early for the start time, efficient and professional. She told us how to pose which I needed because I don't know how to pose for photos. She would say "perfect" so we knew she had got the shot she needed and that we were doing a good job. Responses were always in a timely manner and we received the photos exactly when we were supposed to, which funny enough was on my birthday! Their contract was thorough and easy to understand. She has a creative eye and took us around Brooklyn to capture different settings with my husband. Finally, the editing was top notch!! I love love love their style!
