Rockwood Hall Engagement Session | Gianna & Louis

On a beautiful May evening, we met Gianna and Louis at Rockwood Hall State Park for their engagement session. With their wedding planned for November, this was a chance to slow down, enjoy the season, and celebrate this chapter of their story together.

Spring was in full bloom, and Rockwood Hall provided the perfect backdrop. The park’s rolling lawns, historic ruins, and sweeping views of the Hudson River were surrounded by vibrant greenery, creating a setting that felt both peaceful and cinematic. Everywhere we turned, nature seemed to be showing off its best colors.

This session was all about the two of them. No timelines, no wedding-day schedule, just Gianna and Louis enjoying an evening together. They laughed, walked hand in hand through the park, and embraced every moment as the golden sunlight began to settle over the landscape.

As the sun moved lower in the sky, the light became even more magical. The combination of warm sunset tones, fresh spring foliage, and the couple’s natural connection created the kind of atmosphere every engagement session hopes for. We focused on capturing genuine moments and documenting their excitement for everything that lies ahead.

One of the things we love most about engagement sessions is that they allow couples to pause and enjoy this season of life before the wedding day arrives. It’s a chance to create memories together, become comfortable in front of the camera, and celebrate the journey that brought them here.

Gianna and Louis looked incredible against the backdrop of Rockwood Hall’s blooming landscapes, and it was easy to see how excited they are for the future they’re building together.

Their wedding is still to come, and we cannot wait to document the next chapter of their story when they say “I do” this November. If their engagement session is any indication, their wedding day is going to be something truly special.
