There’s something truly magical about a winter wedding in New York — and Mallory & Scott’s big day was just that. We kicked things off at The William Vale Hotel in Brooklyn, where the view of NYC was wrapped in a dreamy layer of fog and light snow. January in the city may be chilly, but it brings this cinematic vibe that’s impossible not to love as a Photographer NYC Wedding.
We headed up to Mallory’s apartment, where the energy was high — hair tools buzzing, champagne bottles popping, and everyone glowing with excitement. Once her glam squad finished up, Mallory and her girls celebrated on the terrace with a glass (or two) of bubbly, taking in the view before the day truly began. Meanwhile, Scott was already suited up, looking sharp and surrounded by his best friends. We captured some relaxed, fun moments before it was time for the first look.
Just as the sun started to dip, the snow picked up — soft, gorgeous flakes falling all around us. It was the kind of snowfall you dream of for a NYC Wedding photoshoot, and we took full advantage. Outside the venue, under the falling snow, Mallory & Scott looked like a scene from a movie.
Inside, Rule of Thirds was warm and glowing. Tables were set, candles flickered, and everything was ready for the ceremony. It was intimate, emotional, and heartfelt — the kind of ceremony where happy tears are guaranteed. That energy flowed right into their first dance, kicking off an evening full of touching speeches, laughter, and of course — cake cutting! The night wrapped up with a packed dance floor and zero empty seats. It was a true celebration, and we were so grateful to document it all.
Weddings like this remind us why we do what we do — capturing the real, joyful, and beautiful moments that make each couple’s story so unique.
