I recently had the pleasure of capturing a beautiful newborn family photoshoot with Christen, Omar, and their two kids in the heart of Carl Schurz Park. This park, tucked away on the Upper East Side, is the perfect spot for a family session, with its lush greenery and peaceful vibe providing a gorgeous backdrop. Christen and Omar were glowing with joy as they introduced their newest family member, and their son was absolutely thrilled to be the big brother.
We started by strolling through the park, where the family’s happiness was evident in every step. After a while, we moved toward the waterfront. The breeze off the East River was refreshing, and we grabbed some beautiful shots with the city skyline in the distance. It felt like the perfect New York moment—a family in the middle of it all, making memories that will last a lifetime. As we continued walking, the streets of the Upper East Side welcomed us with their charming, tree-lined avenues, providing even more chances to capture this family’s story in the city they call home.
