The best way to get around the city is by using the metro or by walking. I find it the cheapest and most convenient way. It’s easy to navigate and can get you to different locations very fast. You can also use Uber in Paris. RER will be the best option to use if you are going somewhere outside of the city.
While December is festive, January through March is low season in Paris—great for deals (we once found a $150 round-trip from New York!). Paris is beautiful year-round, but winter isn’t ideal for a first visit. You’ll miss out on sunset walks, outdoor cafés, and that easy, open-air magic.
